Consideration on Undesired Radiation in Dielectric-Supported Tri-plate Line Filter

A dielectric-supported tri-plate transmission line is used at a centimeter wave band. Undesired radiation occurs for a circuit element having many discontinuities such as a BPF due to an asymmetrical structure. In this report, we could solve the problems and designed a three-pole 0.1dB ripple Chebychev band-pass filter by inserting the tri-plate transmission line into a cutoff waveguide. |
