Effects of thermal annealing on optical properties of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-bithiophene)

(in English) $\pi$ conjugated polymer have been widely studied in recent years for applications in optoelectronic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic field-effect transistors (FETs). Poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-bithiophene) (F8T2) is one of the $\pi$ conjugated polymer which have high field effect mobilities and good stability in the atmosphere. In this studies, the effects of thermal annealing at 300 $^\circ$C on optical properties have been studied by means of optical absorption, photoluminescence, photoinduced absorption and electroabsorption. It is found that F8T2 does not exhibit structural phase transition by thermal annealing such as poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) (F8).
