On-line training controller which controls inverted pendulum

In general, computer simulations are useful techniques to confirm effectiveness
of the control scheme, but the actual system is not so easy to handle.
Then, paying attention to such realistic problems,
an on-line training model for self-turning control is constructed
based on the famous feedback error learning model,
and investigated its effectiveness
through a task for controlling an inverted pendulum in this study.
As a result of several experiments, somewhat repeatable strange phenomena
such as seasonal variation of training period
and reversalization of control command are observed.
In order to explain its mechanism,
some assumptions related with the proposed model's structure are described. |
