A Study on Word-of-Mouth Information Propagation in Mobile Ad-hoc Network

(in English) This paper is concerned with the mobile ad-hoc network system which propagates word-of-mouth information to unspecified general public. There is a problem that a new participant cannot receive the word-of-mouth information because propagation of the information is over instantly when we transmitted the information in simple flooding. We propose a system that can propagate the word-of-mouth information to new participants in a network. In this system, users judge whether information retransmitted, and retransmission is made by making use of a characteristic of word-of-mouth. And the system can reduce the number of the packets and expand the time length during which retransmission is performed continually and repeatedly by suppressing retransmission until a certain timing. We show effectiveness of this system by computer simulation.
