Learning Algorithm of Neural Networks using Bi-directional Function and Its Applications

(in English) Wakuya and Zurada proposed Bi-directional computation style. It is effective to the time series forecast. The local linear wavelet neural network is an improvement of wavelet network. In this paper, we attempt to predict sunspots, Mackey-Glass time series and earthquake prediction using a local linear wavelet neural network. Furthermore, we propose a learning algorithm using bi-directional function. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
