System Development Method of a Class Support System

The authors examined the development process of a Class Support System whose development succeeded comparatively. Target field of the system is 1) not extensively studied yet, and 2) the environment varies greatly. In the development environment, 1) experimental trials are permitted, and 2) there is no need to draft a contract. In that situation, the authors observed characteristics of the development as follows: 1) the use of prototyping, 2) the use of an evolutionary model, 3) evaluation with actual operation, 4) evaluation based on concrete data, 5) development with the user, and, 6) the use of input validation checks combined with shortcuts. |
