This report describes an authoring system which supports authors of location-based information to specify shapes of target real objects for annotation view management.The proposed authoring system helps authors to efficiently specify shapes of target real objects by editing them with two phases: 2D map based authoring phase and mobile AR view based authoring phase.
In the 2D map based phase, authors can efficiently give shapes of target real objects with 2D or 3D maps and standard interfaces.The AR based phase makes it possible to intuitively modify the shape of target real object in the real environment using AR techniques.
In this report, in order to examine the feasibility of the proposed scheme, shapes of target real objects have been determined in a real environment using a prototype system. |
