Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The power line communication(PLC) increases the attention as a means of the new home network system. It needs not to install the telecommunication line in the home because it can send the signal by using AC-mains lines. However, by the induction between the cables, it has a possibility to interfere the telecommunication signal on the telecommunication line and to leak the information to other AC-mains cables. The analysis method of 8-port network has been presented to calculate the induction voltage. However, this method used the equivalent dielectric constant to calculate the capacitances and the value was determined from the measurement results. Therefore, it has the disadvantages that the value should be obtained for each analysis condition, the optimal value was different between near end and far end. In this report, the calculation accuracy and usefulness of the method of 8-port network were improved to calculate the capacitance using finite element method. The method of measuring the 8-port network parameters were developed to evaluate the calculation value, the measured data was compared with the calculation one. The induction voltage at near end and far end was measured and compared with calculation one when the cable length was changed. The results indicated that the measured values were almost agree with the calculation one both near and far end, the calculation accuracy was improved compared with the value using the equivalent dielectric constant.
