A proposal of assignment on OXC and L2/L3 Switche's Interfaces and its evaluation

(in English) Generally optical backbone network topology is point to point or ring topology in Japan nowadays. But this topology is difficult to change a route and if it happen to trouble or congestion, it is may cause delay. So, OXC (Optical cross Connect) is being developed in order to change network topology to mesh network. L2/L3 Switches can support different speed interfaces, and a broad band interface is expensive. The aim of this paper is to assign and change L2/L3 Switche’s interfaces in accordance with traffic amount, no congestion and full use bandwidth of each interfaces.
