The plethysmogram can be detected without stress in a short time by using a finger tip sensor. Above all, it is very interesting that the degree of sclerosis can be predicted by evaluating the waveform of the acceleration of the plethysmogram. In addition, the acceleration of the plethysmogram is easily derived by calculating the second-order derivative of the waveform. We tried to categorize and visualize our health condition on a Self-Organizing Map (SOM) using the acceleration of the plethysmogram. In this paper, we introduce a new pre-processing method to learn and evaluate the acceleration with SOM. This is to adjust inflection points of the input acceleration to the reference points. This makes it possible to evaluate the waveforms in tearms of similarity. Moreover, we examine the setting of the study condition influencing the map formation, and report on the result. |
