A Study for Fault Recovery Scheme on the All Optical Network

(in English) The photonic network whose optical path is accommodated or released according to traffic quantity on a packet label switching path (P-LSP) and whose transmitting data quality on a P-LSP can be guaranteed has been studied. In the case of a node or a link failure, a new scheme that a protection optical path can be activated simultaneously has been proposed. Since the proposed scheme is like a link protection such as only bypassing a failure link or node, services can be recovered in an instant and the efficiency of the resource usage can be maintained high. The protection scheme is implemented in the network simulator and the function and the performance have been evaluated.
