A proposal of scaling presence gateway that implements traffic optimisation algorithm

(in English) Presence service is popular nowadays. Providing presence information of telecom network subscribers to Internet services is a common idea. As presence service become more and more popular, the growth of presence traffic become a problem for network operators. Many presence traffic optimisation solutions have been proposed, thought the implementation of them remained a problem. Especially, the method of scaling presence telecom gateway and enabling traffic optimisation at the same time remained a problem. This paper propose a method for scaling presence telecom gateway, and enabling traffic optimisation at the same time. By separating gateways for serving applications and serving subscribers, and load balancing the traffic based on both applications and subscribers, traffic optimisation algorithm and scaling gateway have both achieved, and shown in this paper.
