(in English) Evolved UTRA (UTMS Terrestrial Radio Access) and UTRAN (UTMS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) Terrestrial Radio Access Network) is gaining much attention as the next generation mobile communication technology. In this study, we investigate the efficacy of the time/frequency scheduling on Evolved UTRA and UTRAN, by which not only the time-varying wireless condition but the frequency block-dependant wireless condition of each user are exploited. Typical types of time-only scheduling, that are MaxCIR scheduler, Proportional Fair scheduler, and their compound one, are extended to the time/frequency scheduling, and evaluated their TCP throughput for infinite file transfer via network simulation. The results showed that the time/frequency scheduling outperformed the time-only scheduling regardless of the scheduler type.
