(in English) When using multimedia streaming services in mobile networks, occurrence of handoff become a matter.In RTP/RTCP streaming rate control mechanism, when a user receives stream and performs handoff, the sender cannot immediately adjust its streaming rate to the new network after handoff. This degrades the quality of streaming contents. We therefore have proposed a scheme that enables senders to probe available bandwidth in the new network using low-priority packets and to adjust its rate after handoff. In this paper, the impact of RTP handoff on the performance of destination network is evaluated.
