A Study on Interconnection Method of Devices in Digital Broadcasting Reception System with Home Networking Capability

(in English) Digital terrestrial broadcasting launched throughout Japan in December, 2006. As consumer digital audio-visual equipments are spreading, the equipment with storage for digital content and the one with home network access capability bring attention to use of the digital content over the home network. We are studying the reception system for convenient content viewing and utilization by cooperation with the equipments each other over the home network, which is not achievable by simple content sharing. In this paper, we propose the reception system which delivers the content through multiple equipments to the user without complicated connection control by the user. Furthermore, this paper discusses description method of contents, equipments, and user’s properties and interconnection method of devices.
