A study on Suppression Crosstalk of the Parallel Transmission Line using Structures

(in English) The suppression of the crosstalk between parallel transmission lines is requested over 1GHz band. In this study, the suppression effects using two type models, such as the four kinds of the multi layer structures and different distance between lines, are analyzed by experiments and FDTD method. The characteristics of S21 and far end crosstalk at multilayer structure by the analysis are coincided with those of experiment. The peak value of the far end crosstalk of the strip structure can suppress than that of microstrip structure. When the distance between signal lines is farther, the far end crosstalk of the strip structure can suppress over 20 dB than that of the microstrip structure. Since the electric field is focused on the single lines at the strip and shield structure by the FDTD analysis, it is appeared that the conductive plate can control for the extensity of the electric field. As the distance between signal lines of the strip structure is farther, the suppression crosstalk can be possible more effectively.
