The ubiquitous services need considerations in deployment, management and service development.
In order to highlight the service development, the author considers the special case: mobile service development.
The trend so-called Web 2.0 provides a new perspective for frameworks, architectures, content supply chains, and business models in the Internet business. As the mobile Internet is expected to emerge, it is important to consider the mobile-enabled Web 2.0.
The author discusses some of the pitfalls of Web 2.0 and their implications to Mobile Web 2.0.
The author also discusses the mobile-specific characteristics of Web 2.0.
The chasms between a) Mobile Web 1.0 and Mobile Web 2.0 and b) Web~2.0 and Mobile Web 2.0 are discussed.
The business obstacles and opportunities in these chasms are discussed to lead Mobile Web 2.0. |
