Robust Route Discovery Schemes in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

(in English) In late years, mobile terminals have been widely spread and there has been an enormous increasing interest in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET). The route construction schemes of the existing routing algorithms usually use the shortest hop algorithm and do not consider the residual quantity of battery in terminal nodes and the life time of route. However, since the each node operates on using battery as power supply, it is better to restrain the consumption of battery as much as possible. In addition, the life time of route is limited due to the movement of terminals. In this paper, we propose arobust route discovery schemes, in which each node compares the own residual quantity of battery and the life time of route. Our proposed scheme can build a long life time route and save the battery of each node as long as possible.
