携帯端末を用いた授業演習支援システムの開発

工学系科目の教室での授業では，ノートを使って演習を行なうことがしばしばある．しかし教員が多数の学生の演習内容を，教室内を巡回して確認しアドバイスするのは容易ではない．そこで我々は，ＰＤＡ（携帯端末）とＰＣを用いた授業演習支援システムを開発した．本システムで学生は入力端末として1人1台のＰＤＡを用い，無線LANでサーバに接続する．教員はサーバに接続されたＰＣで学生のＰＤＡ画面を切り替えて見ることによって，巡回することなく学生の答案を確認しアドバイスすることができる．実際に11名の学生と１名の教員を対象にソフトウェア設計の授業演習で試用してもらい，本システムが有用であるとの評価を得た．また同様に，他の工学系科目の授業演習に使える可能性のあることもわかった． |

We often use a notebook to exercise about engineering in classroom. In this case, it is not easy for the teacher to review many student’s notebooks and to advice them about their answer rounding in the room. Therefore we developed Exercise Lesson Support System used PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and PC (Personal Computer). Students use a PDA per person to exercise engineering connected to the server by wireless LAN. The teacher can review students’ answer switching on PC screen connected to the server without rounding room. Twelve students and one teacher used this system to exercise Software Design in classroom. As a result, they evaluated this system was useful. In addition, they observed that this system should be useful for another engineering lessons. |
