結合音の情報及びミッシングファンダメンタル情報の抽出

聴覚実験で調波成分２個から成る複合音を用いてミッシングファンダメンタル(missing fundamental)を知覚できるか調べる方法には、各々の耳に１個の純音を聴かせる方法、各々の耳に複合音を聴かせる方法等がある。後者の場合は、ミッシングファンダメンタルの他に結合音も知覚される。本報告では、後者の方法を用いてモデルによる計算機実験を行い、前者の方法による計算機実験と比較して結合音の影響を調べた。その結果、後者の方法のほうが結合音の分、ミッシングファンダメンタルと同じ高さの情報が抽出しやすい傾向があった。 |

There are some methods on acoustic experiments for perceiving the missing fundamental. The two examples are listening to one of two harmonic components from each ear and listening to a complex tone of two harmonic components from each ear. The latter method may perceive the combination tones also. We did computational experiments of the latter method by using AIM(Auditory Image Model) and compared with the former method (the method which we did before). We investigated the effect of combination tones on extraction of the missing fundamental information. As a result, the fundamental could be perceived easier in the latter method(tone containing the combination tones) than in the former method. |
