視覚障害者のウェブサイトの検索効率と心的負担に関する考察

視覚障害者にも使いやすいウェブサイトを制作するために，千葉県下の図書館ウェブサイトを対象に，全盲の人の蔵書検索時間，心的負担（メンタルワークロード），およびアクセシビリティ対応との関係を調査した。その結果，次のようなことが明らかになった。検索時間は心的負担と強い相関があり，検索時間の長短がユーザビリティの良否を示している。今回用いた評価手法であるNASA-TLXは心的負担の度合いを数値として表すことができ，ウェブサイトのタスク検証にも有効である。日本工業規格JISで規定するアクセシビリティへの対応は図書館によって依然大きな差がある。全盲の被験者での実験結果では，検索時間とJISのアクセシビリティ対応との相関はほとんどなく，ユーザビリティ向上にはガイドライン項目を検討する必要がある。 |

The correlation of search time and mental work load of the visually impaired persons in search task on web site were explored. The correlation of the search time and numbers of compliance errors with the web accessibility guidelines (Japan Industrial Standard JIS X 8341-3) of the web pages tested were also studied. The result shows that the search time strongly correlated with the mental work load, whereas it didn’t correlate with the numbers of compliance errors. |
