Dye-sensitized solar cells are expected to be used as future clean energy. The theoretical maximum conversion efficiency is about 33 %. Ruthenium complex is used in the most of the recent researches. However, ruthenium complex can not be used for all of the dye-sensitized solar cells produced in the world, because its product is very small. In this paper, dye-sensitized solar cells are fabricated using dyes of ruthenium, violet-cabbage, vegetable juice, rosehip, blueberry, coffee, hibiscus, D149, and NKX-2553. As a result, it is found that the conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell using dye of violet-cabbage is about 0.244 %, and that of the dye-sensitized solar cell using dye of mixture of D149 and NKX-2553 is about 4.39 %. |
