Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper studies the assessment of MIMO system by utilizing ray tracing method, which calculates radio wave propagation for road-to-vehicle communications at an intersection. In general, ray tracing is calculated based on imaging method, which requires a comparatively long time to calculate radio wave propagation. In this report, we propose a method to reduce the number of times required to execute ray tracing simulations and we verify the validity of this proposed method. We also assess the MIMO system which is applied to road-to-vehicle communications under the radio propagation condition calculated using the proposed ray tracing method.
