| 抄録 | （和） | 高齢化社会にやさしい音声読み上げ環境を実現するため、高齢者の聴覚特性を明らかにすることは必要不可欠である。本研究は話速に対する高齢者および弱視者の聴覚特性を明らかにするため、合成音声の話速に対する健聴晴眼高齢者および健聴弱視高齢者の評価実験および有意味文・無意味文了解度実験を行った。その結果、晴眼高齢者は話速の少し遅めの音声を比較的高く評価し、弱視高齢者はより速い音声を高く評価し、合成音声の話速に対する高齢者の聴覚特性に関する知見を得た。 |
| （英） | To create the human-friendly machine reading systems needed to support the aging society, we conducted a subjective evaluation experiment on the auditory performance of the elderly. The subjects were twenty one people with normal aural ability. Most had normal eyesight for their age, but a few had weak eyesight. The subjects were challenged with synthetic speech at different speaking speeds. We measured the degree of comfort and the speech comprehension rate for meaningful and nonsense sentences. As one result, the subject-entered evaluation scores showed that subjects with normal eyesight preferred slightly slower speeds. Those with weak eyesight preferred slightly faster speeds. | |
