Wide-band Noise Reduction by Electric Positive and Negative Feedback in Semiconductor Lasers

(in English) Blue Violet Semiconductor lasers have been developed to be the light sources for the high density optical disk systems. When the laser is operated in the optical disk systems, one of the problems is intensity noises which are the quantum noise and the optical feedback noise. The authors proposed a new scheme of noise reduction by applying electric positive and negative feedback. We report here the results of expanding the frequency band-with of the noise reduction by electric positive and negative feedback.
