Three algorithms are proposed for detection and chase of person’s position by tracing output sequence of infrared sensor group. These algorithms include forward decision, on-time decision, and backward decision. Among them, forward decision, which estimates person’s position and motion from subsequent two output sensor patterns, sometimes violates uniqueness of estimated result. In order to overcome this problem, on-time decision, which uses total number of persons, and backward decision, which estimates past position, are proposed. |
