A single user UWB-IR envelope detection system with OOK has been proposed in UWB-IR receiver system. This system can achieve to synchronize without template signals and demodulate without the RF part and a high frequency oscillator. In this paper, we simulated the BER performance of UWB-IR envelope detection system in AWGN channel, changing the threshold level of DFFs, and the number of DFFs sampling the envelope signal. Therefore, we consider the optimum threshold level of DFFs, and the number of sampling DFFs in UWB-IR envelope detection system. |
