Given sampled data from an original image, an interpolated image can be generated by using a radial basis function network (RBFN). However, it requires much time to compute radial basis function (RBF) coefficients since the image data are in large amounts. Thus, for the efficient image interpolation, we propose a simple iterative algorithm which updates the RBF coefficients without calculating inverse matrices. |
