Signal Waveform Distortion on Terminatorless Tranmission Line of UART-CSMA/CD Control Network

(in English) Regarding a control network for building facilities, signal waveforms on the transmission line without terminators were calculated and compared with experiments. The calculation predicted severe distortion of the signal waveform due to line end reflections for connections such as loops or branches. For a terminatorless transmission line, possibility of signal collision detection of CSMA/CD(Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection）by UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) was suggested.
