The high-resolution multi-directional imaging system, for example, PRISM on ALOS increases in usefulness for the high accurate height detection. In such high-resolution imaging system, the large grade of data compression should be indispensable. This paper proposes the new compression method based on the modified motion vector detection and applying JPEG2000 and JPEG-LS compression methods. The paper reveals the effectiveness of the averaging of the motion vector between the successive multi-stereo imaging data. As the results, the paper shows the proposed method is superior to ordinary compression system in accuracy, and can reduce the data rate to small amount. |
