We have already proposed DTSS (event aware Dynamic Time Step Synchronization method) for speeding up moving objects (MOs) simulation in a computer cluster environment. DTSS employs variable $\Delta t$ (the interval between the simulation time steps) so that unnecessary processing can be skipped as much as possible. But we found that the $\Delta t$ calculation cost is heavy in some situations, which deteriorates the execution performance. In this paper, we propose high fidelity DTSS, which reduces the $\Delta t$ calculation cost by utilizing a fundamental feature of individual MOs. |
