A Study of Metric Calculation in Co-Channel Interference Environment

(in English) Spectral efficiency improvement is demanded for next generation mobile
communication systems. Smaller cell design or frequency reuse is
effective approach for the spectral efficiency improvement. However it
provides serious co-channel interference and causes throughput
degradation. In this report, a metric calculation scheme for turbo
code is shown. It improves transmission performance in co-channel
interference environment. Simulation results are also presented.
