The firing squad synchronization problem, one of famous problems on cellular automata, was proposed by Myhill in around 1957 and widely known by E. F. Moore. A first algorithm to solve this problem was shown by M.Minsky and J.McCarthy and the minimal time algorithm was obtained by E. Goto. In this paper, we extend this problem as firing squad synchronization problems for number patterns on 7-segment display and give algorithms to solve these problems. |
