On achievability of users strength in optical PPM-CDMA.

(in English) Shalaby introduced users strength that provides a measure for the maximum number of users that can be accomodated simmulnaneously at a sufficiently small symbol error probability by the optical PPM-CDMA wireless system. However, its implication to the actual user size in a pratical system has not been examined. In this paper, by numerical calculation, we show that the maximum number of simultaneously supported users approaches the value specified by Users Strength at a sufficiently small BER in a system of practical size.
