This paper describes a hybrid learning environment for grasping learning situations on programming study. In this paper, “Hybrid” means that students can use same learning environment seamlessly in programming class and self-study environments that have different machine and network conditions. Specifically, authors have developed a method for constructing self-learning environment equal to the case of programming class using VMware Player. Moreover, a novel method to catch and gather learning histories that can copes with self-study environment using laptop PC for both of on-line (network-connected) and off-line cases as well as programming class. These techniques enable teachers to acquire learning histories and to grasp learning situations based on it in several environments without forcing the extra burden on the students. |
