Large-scale Parallel Computation of Particle Accelerator Wake Fields based on Time Domain Boundary Element Method with Moving Window Technique

(in English) In order to compute wake fields, which are transient electromagnetic fields excited by a relativistic charged particle beam passing through a particle accelerator, the authors have been working in the development of time domain boundary element methods (TDBEM) as one of possibilities for the wake field analysis. In this paper, a TDBEM code with the moving window technique, which is used to save required memory, is parallelized to reduce the calculation time, and the code is applied to large-scale wake field analyses of practical long accelerator structures such as multi-cell cavities.
