In order to compute wake fields, which are transient electromagnetic fields excited by a relativistic charged particle beam passing through a particle accelerator, the authors have been working in the development of time domain boundary element methods (TDBEM) as one of possibilities for the wake field analysis. In this paper, a TDBEM code with the moving window technique, which is used to save required memory, is parallelized to reduce the calculation time, and the code is applied to large-scale wake field analyses of practical long accelerator structures such as multi-cell cavities. |
