Scenario Map for Classifying Scenarios

(in English) In scenario-based software development, scenarios can be specified in order to clarify behaviors of a target system. Since there exist several behaviors including not only several different normal behaviors but also behaviors when some abnormal event occurs and behaviors that consist of alternative events, a lot of scenarios should be specified to clarify whole behaviors of the system. By properly managing these scenarios, scenarios of similar behavior can be automatically generated with an existing scenario and scenarios can be used when a similar system development. In this paper, we have defined the similarity between two scenarios and developed a tool named scenario map that visualizes the similarity of given scenarios. Our method and prototype system will be illustrated with an example.
