Electromagnetic Environment Control Techniques using Wireless Mesh Network System for Secure Wireless Communication

(in English) For construction of private ubiquitous smart space, how to flexibly introduce wireless communication would be the most challenging requirement. However, one of the most serious problems for deployment of such ubiquitous private wireless network is, unlike public wireless networks, there is no strong coordinator that manages radio resource for all wireless nodes in a centralized way. If each user creates smart space without any consideration, the space will be flooded with electromagnetic wave radiated from many wireless nodes, and electromagnetic environment in such a private space will fall into a chaotic situation. One of the paramount important requirements in wireless communication system is secure transmission of data, because the open air wireless links are vulnerable. Especially, in the future ubiquitous network society, above mentioned chaotic situation will cause the leakage of the transmitted signal to adjacent wireless nodes.
In order to solve this problem and to establish secure wireless communications, this paper will propose an electromagnetic environment control techniques using wireless mesh network system. Proposed system adaptively controls the electromagnetic environment by using the adaptive routing, and transmission power control according to the selected route. Numerical results show that the secure wireless communication will be established by increasing the number of hops in multi-hop wireless network system.
