(in English) In environment and security, it is needed to detect a wide variety of dangerous gases with high sensitivity.
In order to meet this need, we have developed a micro gas chromatograph system with a ball SAW sensor, which is characterized by small size and high performance.
To extend application field of the ball SAW sensor, a PIB sensing film known to have high sensitivity for hydrocarbon was deposited and evaluated in addition to existing PdNi thin film.
As a result, significant responses were observed in hydrocarbon measurement, and the possibility of application of the ball SAW to a multigas sensor was verified.
