Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Electrocorticogram (ECoG) is a well-known clinical examination for the identification of epileptic focus and has an excellent SN ratio and high spatiotemporal resolution. We measured ECoG during motor tasks and evaluated functional localization based on the cerebral oscillatory changes. Functional mapping based on the cerebral oscillatory change is well concordant with conventional cortical stimulation mapping. We propose that our method is a promising procedure for a less invasive functional mapping. Our goal is to realize the restoration of motor function using real time brain computer interface based on the findings obtained from the ECoG mapping.
