(in English) The talk will be made about the EMC in Japan from the establishment of EMCJ to its rapid prosperous grow of today’s EMC state of the arts in Japan, as well as EMC Sendai Seminar at the Research Institute of Electrical Communications, Tohoku University. Both begun 30 years ago. Establishment of EMCJ was proposed by Professor Risaburo Sato at Tohoku University, and EMC Sendai Seminar was proposed by Takagi, which at first began as a private meeting for understanding what the EMC is, and after several years it was organized formally as a regular research meeting at the above institute. Both EMCJ and EMC Sendai Seminar have contributed not only in theoretical progress but also in practical in this field. The splendid contributions have been made from the basic understanding of EM environment concerning the electrical engineering such fields as the power engineering, electrical communication, electronics and computers engineering. The talk will begin with my related studies which I had carried out before EMCJ, referring the scientific and historical progresses on electronics and noise.
