Two-Input Two-Output Speech Enhancement Using Adaptive Filter

(in English) Two-input two-output speech enhancement algorithm is expected to be effective for binaural communication system, since such a system is benefited from the noise reduction ability achieved by the signal processing technology as well as the use of the binaural processing of human auditory system. Roman {\it et al.} (2006) proposed a two-input one-output speech enhancement system by calculating a binary mask by using adaptive filter. In this report, we propose a two-input two-output speech enhancement system that calculates two input soft real-valued mask filters in place of the hard 0 and 1 binary mask. The results of a computer simulation show that our proposed system outperforms the traditional algorithm by Roman {\it et al.}.
