(in English) Structural defects in timber and concrete building blocks were clearly observed as 2D-image by using the room-temperature operation compact TUNNETT sub-terahertz oscillator. Cracks and water diffusion etc. inside the building blocks were efficiently detected, then it is concluded that the sub-terahertz imaging is one of the very effective evaluation means for the construction of safe civil fundamentals.
