A Wide Band Design of Double-sided and Transparent Wave Absorber with Specified Reflection and Transmission Coefficients

(in English) A wide band design of double-sided and transparent wave absorber with specified reflection and transmission coefficients at the center frequency is presented. This wave absorber is a structure to pile up dielectric layers and resistive films alternately. The design that allows the transmitted wave has already been proposed to this structure. In this paper, the reflected wave in addition to the transmitted wave is allowed. Consequently, the designed element values are making easy. A set of design formulas that specify reflection and transmission coefficients at the center frequency is derived by using its equivalent circuit. It consists of the cascade connection of the transmission line with shunt resistance. And, it is shown to obtain the wide band characteristics when the permittivity of the dielectric layers are specified to become a equal-ripple characteristic in the operated frequencies.
