A Clustering Method to Improve Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks

(in English) Because the power resource is limited for a long-term observation in the sensor network,
the information gathering with good energy efficiency is indispensable.
The sensors mainly consumes the electric power by detecting, transmitting, and receiving information.
Especially, the power consumption of the information transmission is
proportional to the square of the communication distance or more.
Therefore,the following clustering method is effective, transmitting power is
suppressed to the minimum, the cluster is formed with the sensors which are close to each other,
a sensor that is called a cluster head aggregates and delivers information to
the base station as the multi hopping.
In the previous research CAG,since sensors that exist in near place
would have information such as the same range of temperature and brightness, etc.
to some degree,
user's requests are sent to the sensors which are located in the vicinity of a
cluster head,
and Suppressing that send information in a cluster except cluster head reduces
power consumption. However, a long-term information gathering is not thought in CAG,
and when information is collected again,
it is necessary to make the cluster from the beginning because the case where information changes is not considered.
Then, this paper proposes a clustering technique for reconstructing the cluster
only when there is a on the information between the current cycle and the
previous cycle.
this paper also shows that the proposed method is effective with respect to
energy consumptionby the simulation evaluation.
