Reliability Evaluation and Analysis of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor

(in English) We use many Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors for its superior characteristic features and price performance. But Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor has life-span for using electrolyte. So before now Capacitor reliability problems occurred, for example leaked electrolyte of quaternary salt and getting hydration reaction of electrolyte include water and so on. So we hope more reliability one. For that purpose, we need more useful and advanced analysis techniques to know the fault mechanism.
We tried to develop a new technique for failure analysis used by X-ray CT, EDX, FIB, and CP. In this paper, we introduce method of analyzing for using several measurement equipments, and the failure of short, and Tin Whisker.
