Game-Theoretic Analysis of Decentralized Adaptive Route Selection in Cooperative Relaying Networks

(in English) In this paper, throughput of decentralized adaptive route selection scheme in cooperative relaying networks in which each source independently chooses a route to enhance throughput is studied. Cooperative relaying is a new technique to enhance spectral efficiency by using simultaneous transmissions of multiple stations. However, it also increases the cost of preventing interference due to the increase in the number of interference signals. In order to investigate the capability of a decentralized adaptive route selection, the game-theoretic approach is applied. The throughput under equilibrium conditions is compared to the capacity with centralized scheduling. Simulation results reveal that when the transmit power is low and the interference from others is low, decentralized adaptive route selection achieves throughput near the capacity.
