| (in English) | MEG(Magnetoencephalogram) is the magnetic field that occurred with the activity of the nerve cell from the outside of the brain. However, it is necessary to remove artifacts from MEG because it is a very small signal. Therefore, analyses of MEG by the Independent Component Analysis(ICA) have been performed by many researchers. In this paper, a recurrent self-organizing map (Recurrent-SOM), which is an extension of SOM proposed by Markus $et. al.$ is used for clustering of the time series signal. Then the clustering by the Recurrent-SOM is used for selecting signals to be separated by ICA. We show an example that the proposed method extracts the better independent component than the separation by ICA without the Recurrent-SOM. |
