An Equivalent Power Plane Model with Frequency-Dependence and Fast Transient Simulation Techniques

(in English) This paper presents an equivalent circuit model of a power plane with frequency dependence and a fast transient simulation method. First, we describe how to make frequency dependence include to an equivalent circuit model. In this model, the sub-network is appended additionally to the original power plane model and it makes the size of the network large extremely. For this problem, we suggest a method to analyze the large network composed of a large number of models efficiently. The suggested method consists of three approaches, namely, RLCG formulation technique, branch transformation technique and Domain Decomposition (DD) tecnique. Finally, the presented method is applied to an example circuit with frequency-dependence and the validity and the efficiency of the present method are verified.
