Apparent Age Estimation by Using the Empirical Mode Decomposition

(in English) In this paper, we propose the age feature extraction method by the empirical mode decomposition (EMD). The EMD is one of a frequency analysis and a technique that can analyze data searching.The EMD aims at decomposing an signal via a number of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) and the residual. In this paper, we estimate the age by the neural network from apparent age feature. Moreover, we note the human's age perception and estimate the apparent age. Finally, in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, computer simulations are done by the actual data.
